H. F. Strohecker graduated from the University of Georgia in 1873. After his graduation from the University, he read law with Senator Augustus O. Bacon in Macon, Georgia, and practiced law there until his death in 1925. He was the youngest of three surviving children of wealthy parents. His father, Dr. Edward L. Strohecker was a graduate of the Medical College (University) of South Carolina. He was a physician, and was also elected three times as Mayor of the young city of Macon. He was an orgai...
